The
course aims at illustrating the neurobiological basis of human eating behaviour,
describing the role of different brain circuits in the healthy eating and in
cases of altered eating behaviour. After an introductory part on the main
mechanisms that influence eating behaviour, some aspects that characterize
clinical populations with eating disorders will be explored. Part of the course
will focus on the research techniques used to study the neurobiological basis
of eating behaviour and the latest scientific researches aimed at promoting
innovative treatment strategies.

Welcome to Stem Cell Medicine, a course designed to explore the rapidly evolving field of stem cell research and its transformative impact on modern medicine. The course is taught by Professor Rio Sugimura from Hong Kong University, a leader in the field of stem cell technology and cell-based immunotherapy. Stem cells hold immense potential for regenerative medicine, disease modeling, and therapeutic interventions including oncology. Understanding the biology, ethical considerations, and clinical applications of these radically new technologies is crucial for anyone pursuing a career in biomedical sciences or healthcare. The course is therefore aimed at Medicine and Biotechnology students, but open to anyone else with an interest in this topic.
Il corso si pone come obiettivo di fornire una conoscenza di base della storia dell'informatica nelle aziende e delle principali componenti di un sistema informativo. Viene poi affrontato il tema della Trasformazione Digitale e delle nuove tecnologie, e delle tematiche connesse (Sostenibilità Digitale, Cybersecurity e Collaboration e Smart Working). Nel corso è presente un modulo sul Change Management finalizzato a comprendere le esigenze, gli strumenti e le strategie per la gestione del cambiamento. La seconda parte del corso affronta alcune tecnologie specifiche nella data analysis e visualization e nella robotic process automation dando elementi di teoria e proponendo formazione ed esercitazioni pratiche su alcuni strumenti di mercato. Il corso prevede numerose testimonianze di manager aziendali e momenti di esercitazione pratica.
